Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning, quantum optimization, and quantum cryptography.
- Design, develop, and test quantum algorithms and protocols using various quantum programming languages (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, Pennylane) and quantum simulation platforms.
- Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of quantum computing solutions for specific industry challenges and client use cases.
- Collaborate with internal and client-facing teams to integrate quantum computing concepts into existing technology stacks and R&D projects.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum computing hardware, software, and theoretical developments.
- Prepare and present research findings, technical reports, and whitepapers to internal stakeholders, clients, and the broader scientific community.
- Contribute to the development of intellectual property, including patents, publications, and open-source contributions.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
Required Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and theoretical computer science.
- Proficiency in Python programming and experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience with quantum simulators and/or access to real quantum hardware platforms.
- Solid understanding of classical algorithms and data structures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of independent research or project execution in a related field.
