As an Energy Efficiency Consultant at Accenture in Japan, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy consumption and sustainability for our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing energy efficiency improvements across various sectors, including industrial, commercial, and governmental organizations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth energy audits and assessments for industrial, commercial, and governmental clients.
- Develop comprehensive energy efficiency strategies and roadmaps tailored to client-specific needs and objectives.
- Analyze energy consumption data, identify areas for improvement, and quantify potential savings and ROI.
- Design and implement energy management systems, renewable energy solutions, and sustainable building strategies.
- Provide expert advice on energy policy, regulations, and best practices, including compliance with Japanese energy standards.
- Collaborate with client teams and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and change management.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior client leadership.
- Stay updated on emerging energy technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes.
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within Accenture's energy and sustainability practice.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental), Energy Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy efficiency, sustainability consulting, or a related technical role.
- Strong understanding of energy systems, HVAC, lighting, industrial processes, and building management systems.
- Proven ability to conduct energy audits, perform data analysis, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both Japanese and English.
- Proficiency in project management and working with diverse client teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or similar professional certification.
- Experience with energy modeling software and data visualization tools.
