Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and performance objectives for various employee groups and departments.
- Design and develop engaging and effective instructional materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, guides, job aids, and multimedia content.
- Apply adult learning theories, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and evidence-based practices to create impactful learning solutions.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the organization to ensure accuracy, relevance, and technical integrity of content.
- Utilize various authoring tools and learning technologies to produce high-quality, interactive, and visually appealing learning experiences.
- Implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning programs, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Stay current with instructional design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in corporate learning and development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development within a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines and deliverables.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess learning needs and design appropriate solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology or e-commerce environment.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content integration.
- Basic graphic design or multimedia development skills.
