Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize operational strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across the e-commerce value chain.
- Manage and lead cross-functional teams, including logistics, warehouse, customer service, and technical support, ensuring high performance and clear communication.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate forecasting, and efficient replenishment to meet customer demand.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, shipping carriers, and other vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective services.
- Monitor and analyze key operational metrics (e.g., order fulfillment rates, shipping times, return rates, customer satisfaction) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, internal policies, and quality standards related to e-commerce operations.
- Implement and manage e-commerce platform enhancements related to operational workflows, working closely with IT and product development teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process automation, technology adoption, and data-driven insights.
- Manage operational budgets and resource allocation effectively.
- Address and resolve complex operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to customer experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (60+ months) in e-commerce operations management or a similar senior operational role.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English and Latvian, both written and spoken.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Knowledge of the Baltic e-commerce market specifics and consumer behavior.
- Experience with process automation and implementation of new technologies.
- Additional language skills (e.g., Russian, Lithuanian, Estonian) are a plus.
