Key Responsibilities
- Conduct community outreach activities to identify health needs, promote health education, and facilitate access to healthcare services.
- Organize and deliver health workshops, presentations, and awareness campaigns on various health topics (e.g., nutrition, chronic disease management, preventive care).
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and stakeholders to foster collaborative health initiatives.
- Distribute health information materials, brochures, and resources to community members in an accessible and understandable format.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to individuals, helping them navigate healthcare systems, schedule appointments, and understand medical advice.
- Collect and report data on outreach activities, community engagement, and identified health needs to inform program development and evaluation.
- Act as a liaison between community members and healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and addressing barriers to care.
- Participate in planning and implementing health screening events and vaccination drives within target communities.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage and build rapport with diverse community groups.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple outreach initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of public health principles and health education methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid UAE Driving License and access to a personal vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a community health or social services setting in the UAE.
- Familiarity with local health policies and community resources in Dubai.
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., Urdu, Hindi, Tagalog).
