Job Description
We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Product Designer with a strong focus on UX/UI to join our dynamic team. As a Product Designer at Voyager Innovations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our innovative digital financial products, including PayMaya, Smart Padala, and other emerging ventures. You will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle, from initial user research and conceptualization to high-fidelity prototyping and implementation support. Your work will directly impact millions of users, making complex financial services simple, intuitive, and delightful to use.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing) to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Translate user research insights and business requirements into intuitive and engaging user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to define product strategy, roadmap, and features, ensuring a strong user perspective.
- Work hand-in-hand with Engineers throughout the development cycle to ensure design integrity and feasibility, providing clear specifications and assets.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all products.
- Iterate designs based on feedback from user testing, analytics, and internal stakeholders, driving continuous improvement.
- Champion user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization.
- Present design concepts and rationale effectively to cross-functional teams and leadership.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a breadth of UX/UI design work, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
- Experience with mobile-first design and responsive web design.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sense.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience designing for financial technology (FinTech) or e-commerce products.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand technical constraints.
- Experience with A/B testing and analytics to inform design decisions.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
